Sorry for the cheesy title. It's the best I could do under the circumstances. Not that I'm complaining. We started the day at Carlsbad Caverns and we were very impressed with the incredible formations and overall beauty of the place. Pictures don't do it justice(but I posted a few anyway). If you ever have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it, but be in good shape, there are a lot of steep ups and downs. We left there and headed north...and we kept going and going...for what seemed like hours(it was only 5). In a previous post I mentioned "vast nothingness", well, I didn't know what that meant until today. Mile after mile, hill after hill. I started to sense a mutiny might be in the works, but thankfully it never transpired. Once again the openness of this region makes me feel very small, but I suppose that is the reason God made it that way. After seeing the magnificent things this morning, I rest assured that there is a God in control of all.
