After surviving a freak dust storm, we finally made it to Carlsbad, NM this evening. After a late start, I wasn't so sure if we would ever get here. Seems to be a nice place, but it sure is WINDY! It is nice to be out on the road. There are places of vast nothingness between here and home. Makes you feel small. Like an ant on a football field.
