Vegas Part 2

After having a few days to think about it, I have an idea about the Vegas thing. As we made countless trips through the casino, I could not help but feel burdened for the people sitting there, throwing money away, hoping for some type of win. They were probably feeling bad for me (if they even noticed us) because I was dragging two kids through a casino with no opportunity to have a good time. I felt they were wasting their money, they would probably think I had wasted mine. I guess it comes down to the defining of "a good time." What do we pursue? What do we enjoy? Are we chasing our own selfish ambition or is the well being of others our primary concern? Should I have tried to share the love of Christ with those people or was my responsibility to educate my family about the situation? (notice the italics) That one is not quite as easy to answer as you think it might be...and I'm still working on it.
