Road Trip

I hope we aren't forgetting something. We are driving to Memphis tomorrow. There we will quickly (hopefully) visit Graceland. I've seen it when I was a kid and didn't feel the need to go back, but Carter wants to see it for some unknown reason. We'll spend that night with a friend, then the next will be spent in a tent in far eastern Tennessee. We have three nights where we will be camping in a tent. I must admit it's a little uh, disconcerting to think about having only a thin sheet of plastic between us and the outside world. I've been trying to find a spiritual element to this endeavour and maybe that's it. Ultimately, our plans are to spend a few days in Washington DC, then on to the Delaware coast for some camping on the beach (or close to it). Once again (as was the case last year) I'm praying God will reveal Himself to us in surprising ways. I don't want to drive 3,000 miles for nothing.
