Bedtime

Tonight I got the privilege of having a bedtime conversation with Carter. God was apparently stirring his heart with questions. He asked about the cross and what specifically made Jesus die. He asked why the people were so mean to Jesus and why they wanted Him to die so horribly. I tried to explain that it was all part of God's sovereign plan. He then asked how God could just let it happen. Wow! It was a powerful moment. I think he is starting to "get it".
