This place is completely indescribable. The pictures cannot even come close to capturing the magnificent beauty and hugeness that is the Grand Canyon. It should have a more spectacular name than that. Talk about feeling small. I expected to be amazed but had no idea how overwhelming it would be to stand and gaze at such a marvel. Another surprise was the weather. It was 39 degrees when we got there at 4:45am to catch the sunrise. Amazingly I don't remember anyone complaining about it though. Carter did have a brief moment of "heightsickness" he called it, but was a trooper and battled through it. We did not want to leave. Hopefully we will return someday. God is definitely huge.
