Meteor Crater up close & personal

These pictures are pretty self explanatory. I had heard of the astronaut cutout(6 feet tall) at the bottom, but I didn't see it when I first looked. It is there, you just need some help finding it.



I took this picture of the kids playing on some rocks behind a viewing platform. I was caught up in the scenery and half listening to what they were saying when I heard Carter telling Reily in a very sincere tone "Vacation is awesome!" I had to capture the moment.
