To some, this post may seem silly and a bit indulgent so I'll apologize upfront. I do not have the vocabulary to explain it, but this song came on today and I could hardly drive. I just began crying and... man it was awesome! Seriously, check out the words and think about all the things you think you have accomplished(I'm not even talking about worldly things either). See, nothing to do but sob.
No More My God I boast no more, Of all the duties I have done
I quit the hopes I held before, To trust the merits of Thy Son
No more my God, No more my God, No more my God, I boast no more
Now for the loss I bear His name, What was my gain I count my loss
My former pride I call my shame, And nail my glory to His cross
No more my God, No more my God, No more my God, I boast no more
Yes, and I must, I will esteem all things but loss for Jesus' sake
O may my soul be found in Him and of His righteousness partake Amen, amen
The best obedience of my hands, Dares not appear before Thy throne
But faith can answer Thy demands, By pleading what my Lord has done
No more my God, No more my God, No more my God, I boast no more
For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— not from works, so that no one can boast.
Eph 2:8-9

God is speaking...!!!
All day yesterday I was drawn to this song and kept playing it over and over. I did not know why until I read your post this morning. "nothing to do but sob"
Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom
Or the strong man boast in his strength
Let not the rich man boast in his riches
But let the hum- ble come and give thanks
To the One who made us, the One who saved us
CHORUS
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy
I will boast in the Lord my God
I will boast in the One Who's worthy, He's wor- thy "Paul Baloche"
