This verse hit me hard this morning.

36 When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” Matt 9:36-38

Once again, I have to wonder why eternity is not a higher priority for us. You would think the final resting place for your soul would grab a person's attention. Not to mention the promise of "life more abundantly". I wonder how many thought about it on this morning seven years ago. It was just another day at work. I need to be less passive when it comes to matters such as this because my last breath is unknown. I have to stop wasting time.
