I can't help but wonder...
I know of a family that, in a week, will be getting on a plane to a foreign country. Not for vacation, but to follow God's call. Part of me is envious. Why is it that I find myself feeling frustrated and tired after an eight hour work day? It seems as if there is no point in what I do. I feel like the proverbial hamster in a wheel; just spinning and spinning, yet going no where (sorry, this ain't counseling). Here is a link to their blog. Meet Us In The Middle Remember them in your prayers. I truly admire a guy that is genuinely walking with the Lord.

Kevin,
Is this Robert and Carol's son and his family? By the way, you should admire guys who are walking with God. Take a look in the mirror, my friend. Following God's call has nothing to do with location or occupation - it has to do with obedience, wherever that call might be and whatever it might be doing. It could be Quito, Ecuador; Paris, France; or Paris, Texas. It could be working with youth or children in Ecuador; coaching or counseling in Canada; or working for a packaging company and raising & loving your family in Paris, Texas. Give yourself a break man as you consider this last dagger - if you're not where God wants you or doing what He wants you to be doing, there's only one person who can change that. Yeah - its that mirror thing again. Take a look.
