another update ( somewhat)

It's been a long day. We left camp twelve hours ago and just returned. After our regular track sites, we traveled to the town of Banos. It's at the foot of Tungurahua. We had some time to walk around and check i t out. So other-worldly. After it was dark, you could look up into what you thought was sky, only to realize it was the volcano. Pretty impressive. as I type this, my friend Mauricio is sitting here. He's twenty years old and works here at the camp. He has learned English and is going to university in Ambato. He's a cool guy. It's late got to go. Buenas noches.
